KANYE OLD WILD WEST

Kanye West has not stopped talking about him since his arrival in Paris. The rapper first caused a sensation by opening the Balenciaga fashion show on Sunday, October 2. The next day, he organized his own fashion show for his brand Yeezy. Many stars have also made the trip including Anna Wintour, the god master of fashion. However, his show has caused controversy on social networks after images of him wearing a long-sleeved black top with the following message: “White Lives Matter” have made the rounds of the Web. A reference to the slogan “Black Lives Matter” which became viral on social networks and in the demonstrations after the death of the American George Floyd. The Internet users have expressed their anger towards Kanye West, including the famous model Gigi Hadid.

On Monday night, after the show, Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, a journalist for the American edition of “Vogue”, decided to share her opinion on the show of Kanye West: “The T-shirts that this man designs, produces and shares with the world are pure violence,” she wrote in her Instagram story. She also explained that she was furious with the rapper: “There is no excuse, there is no art here.” Following her comments, Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband lashed out at the journalist. In a post now deleted, he wrote that the latter “was not a person belonging to the world of fashion”. An attack that did not please Gigi Hadid at all, who decided to speak out in turn on Instagram.

In the comments of the publication of Kanye West, she wrote: “You would like to have a percentage of his intellect. You have no idea haha… If any of your shit does have a point, she could be the one person who could save you. As if the ‘honor’ of being invited to your fashion show should prevent anyone from giving their opinion,” she wrote. She concluded, “You are a bully and a joke.” Since then, many people have come out in support of Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, and Kanye West wrote in a new Instagram post that he had settled his differences with the journalist and that everything was fine between them now.

It has become now permanent buzz to hide the lack of skill and qualification of those “soit-disant” designers who do not even know how to sew, but who just want to be part of fashion. It is ridiculous if you believe that Kanye West is a designer. Everybody knows that it was Abloh who was creating all his collections, but unfortunately he is not able to take his place.
