Kering chairmain and chief executive officer, Francois Pinault, has been elected at the board and at the executive committee of the French Fashion Federation (the Chambre Syndicale du Prêt-à-Porter des Couturiers et des Créateurs de Mode). Mr Pinault was selected in his capacity as to be the president of St Laurent.
Bruno Pavlosky, president of Chanel, succeeds at Ralf Tolenado, the actual President of the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture. Guillaume de Seynes, managing director at Hermès, and Jean-Marc Louvier, president and Ceo of first heritage brands, were elected as vice presidents of the Chambre Syndicale du Prêt-à-Porter des Couturiers et des Créateurs de Mode
The Chambre Syndicale probably does not want to leave Mr Wargnier on his own !!!! and prefers to refer to a real President, and a more executives board to design the strategy of the chamber.
